Where can I find an introduction to the usage of the data center?

When is the data center not available?

There is a regular maintenance slot for adding new data sets and features to our data base on every Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m.You can still use our data center during this time frame, but some interruptions while accessing our data sets might occur.


What online tools are available?

Which offline tools shall I use to open the data sets?
We present here a list of useful tools.

 

Can I also map the data as a network drive under Windows or Mac OS?

Yes, while data is mounted automatically on ZMAW Unix servers and workstations, you can manually mount it under Windows and Mac OS X.

I have problems to open the Live Access Server delivered kml file with google earth under Linux!

The Linux version of Google Earth cannot open https URLs that are used in our internal Live Access Server. Inside the ZMAW network you can use under Debian Lenny the following googleearth Version:

/sw/lenny-x64/google-earth-6.1.0/googleearth ~/Desktop/las_product.kml
